Program and scripts for pocketpc using the ARM processor

Palm OS 3.5 or higher is required to run PDAcalc on a palm device.

Installing Palm OS files manually

Download PDAcalc.zip file and unzip the file
Install all *.prc and *.pdb files on your palm device using the standard install procedure.

Installing PocketPC files manually

Download appropriate installation ZIP/CAB file.
Insert your device into the craddle and check if ActiveSync is connected.
Copy the CAB file into your Pocket PC device (using ActiveSync Explorer).
Run the CAB file on your device.

1.34	10/03/2003	Several fixes to synchronize the scripts between the windows version and the palm version. Added the ability to change the scripts directory in the windows version to synchronize scripts with the PocketPC. Several minor bug fixes.

1.30	08/30/2003	Fixed problem some people reported with uploading and downloading script from our web site. The new version for the palm os devices contains both modules classic and units. No need to install both modules anymore. Just select the module from the options menu. The previous version number of PDAcalc units was 1.22. Since they are both combined now we had to make the version of PDAcalc higher than 1.22 Refresh problem fixed in palm version. (Screen was refreshed more often than necessary which caused the blinking of the screen) Added extra selection on the preference screen of the units module. Now you can select between UK and US units.

0.82	08/06/2003	PDAcalc classic user manual added Several updates for the pocketpc version. Functions date(mm,dd,yyy,text), exit(text) and error(condition,text) added Pressing the basic operators, + - * /, when the scratchpad is empty the previous result will be put in the scratchpad first. Press [CLR]+5[EXE][EXE] to see how this works.

0.80	07/28/2003	Fixed memory leaks. Conduit, synchronization between palm and windows version, changes. Please be careful using the conduit since we still need to do more testing. Fixes for high resolutions screen on sony NX70 Pocketpc fixes for SIP, Supplementary Input Panel. Changed setup program to install without pocketpc after ActiveSync is detected.

0.70	07/01/2003	With this new beta version you can just add strings together like: res='len='+123+' yards'. This eliminates the need for two string arguments in functions like gprt(x,y,str1,str2) because you can just use a plus sign between str1 and str2 instead of using a comma. Even better you can use as many string you want as long they are separated by a plus sign. The main concern was compatibility but we think the advantages are far greater than the disadvantages. This is why the number of arguments where change for the function gprt(),gcprt(),glprt(), gtadd(),result(), mode1() and mode2() Added a few more links under the help menu on the windows version. Fixed rnd() bug on palm version.

0.55	06/10/2003	Added ssave(file) function to save the statistical data. Improved sdata() function to avoid reading errors of the data file.

0.54	05/02/2003	Added color argument to gpnt() function. First argument is color. Fixed mod() function. The arguments where swapped.

0.53	04/30/2003	Added 3D function plot Several updates to prevent premature termination of program due to memory allocation problems. Added error message when variable table is full. You can just clear the the variables in the variables screen and continue. This can happen after loading several programs since the variables are not cleared before a program is loaded.
